Flag Island Resort is located in the beautiful northwest angle of Minnesota on Lake of the Woods. Our location gives you easy access to both MN and Canadian waters. Guests can get to Flag Island Resort via vehicle by driving through Manitoba, Canada and back into Minnesota at Jim’s Corner to Young’s Bay approximately 60 miles from Warroad or Roseau, MN. Once you have arrived at Young’s Bay we can pick you up and transport you to our docks or you can drive your own boat in the summertime or vehicle on the plowed ice road in the winter out approximately 3.5-4 miles. Guests can also get to Flag Island via boat in the summer time or snowmachine in the wintertime from the south shore, which we can accommodate for you. If you are using GPS it works well to use Young’s Bay Resort as a destination.
